Carry Me Home Italian Handbag
One of my favorite designs - loved using this design on reusable shopping bags. Instead of wrapping a gift in wrapping paper or a gift bag, make this versatile and stunning bag and pop a little gift inside. Embroider the recipients name on the other side and you have a beautiful gift that will be cherished for years to come. The bag is also a firm favorite with every little girl.
The instructions are clear and very easy to follow. I’m sorry I didn’t purchase the two in one deal... LOVE this, go on, treat yourself, buy it immediately.
I have a file in my Embroidery area called 'make one day'. This is where I put 'Carry me Home Italian bag' Earlier this year the time came. This was the largest ITH project I have ever done. I loved the red colours but wanted to challenge myself and picked the purple and green. as I remember scooters did come in green. (Yes I am that vintage) Of course that meant changing the cotton colours. I worked over three days doing a little each day. This is because I tend to rush into things and wanted the bag to be perfect. Each day I took a photo of my progress getting more confident and excited as I progressed with the easy to follow instructions. I particularly loved the balcony as it is in relief, I believe this gives this design the wow factor. Finally finished the bag and WOW total success. I posted the finished result and was flooded with comments and enquiries as to the company name. Which I supplied and continue to supply every time I use the bag. People stop me in the street to ask where I got the bag. If you are like me and are a little scared of starting this project I would encourage you to do it as I did in stages. Thankyou 'Enchanting Designs' for your great patterns. PS I am going to make another bag is greys. Yes I will post pictures.
